Karly attended The University of California at Berkeley and the University of San Diego, School of Law. After law school, Karly pursued a career in real estate, working at Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial, where she specialized in retail investment and leasing transactions involving high density mixed-use projects in downtown San Diego. Her clients included national and local homebuilders whose goals included maximizing property values by selling and leasing the ground floor commercial space to the best possible landlords and tenants. Karly has completed numerous transactions involving the sale of land, apartments, retail investments and commercial leases. After Grubb & Ellis, Karly went on to work at Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate where she specialized in representing tenants and buyers in market analysis, site selection, relocation and expansion, strategic planning for space needs, negotiation of lease and purchase terms and transaction management.
Karly utilizes a combination of her extensive market knowledge and industry relationships to meet her residential and commercial clients' business goals and financial objections while providing them with the highest level of individual attention, creativity and value. She will take the time to understand your goals, develop a plan to get there and go the extra mile to ensure success. She is extremely resourceful and results oriented. She combines her legal background and real estate experience to be thorough in transaction management and skillful negotiations.
Karly was born and raised in San Diego and has lived exclusively in La Jolla for over 15 years. She married her husband, Stephen in 2010 and they have two children, Caroline and John. Caroline attends school at Stella Maris Academy in the Village of La Jolla, and John attends the Montessori School of La Jolla on Mount Soledad.
