Before choosing real estate as his career, Michael had his own distribution company selling Orthopedic "Total and Reverse shoulder implants" to physicians in the San Diego area." His specific job was to explain the "features and benefits" of Shoulder implants, secure contracts and negotiate pricing with major hospitals such as Scripps, Sharp and Kaiser Permanente Healthcare. Michael's job required him to be present during the surgical procedures in an advisory role to assist with sizing and technical issues.
Michael's company was eventually acquired by Tornier and merged into Wright Medical. The connection of Implant sales to Real Estate is the "Sales Process". Close attention to details, following up with customers and completing paperwork with no mistakes thus assuring satisfied clients.
Prior to his career in implants, Michael worked for a major engineering firm selling highly specialized compressor valves to mechanical engineers. His customers included both Exxon and Chevron refineries including their offshore platforms.
Upon graduation from college, Michael obtained both series 7 and 63 licenses as a Registered Representative licensed to sell stocks and options.
Michael is married and he and his wife, Diane, of 15 years have one 9-year-old son Max.
For recreation, Michael enjoys San Diego's local beaches, surfing and skin diving. His favorite however is coaching Little League with his son and teaching fundamentals and sportsmanship to other youngsters in the community.
Michael volunteers at the UC Little League, Pack 11 Cub Scouts.
